The agreement between you and Tasko for using the platform.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or placing a booking you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
What Tasko is — and is not
Tasko is a marketplace. We connect customers with independent service professionals and companies; we are not the provider of the service itself and the professional is not our employee. We are responsible for operating the platform, taking payment, and the standards and dispute processes described in these documents. The professional is responsible for performing the work with the skill and care of a trained practitioner.
Bookings and prices
Prices shown in the app include VAT at the rate set by ZATCA and are calculated by Tasko — a professional may not agree a different price with you outside the app. Where a job needs work beyond what you booked, the professional raises a quotation in the app and no additional work starts until you approve it. Replacement parts are quoted separately.
Your responsibilities
Give accurate address and access information, be present or arrange access at the scheduled time, provide a safe working environment, and treat the professional with respect. Do not ask a professional to work outside the scope of the booking, to work unsafely, or to settle payment off-platform.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, abuse or harassment of a professional or of our staff, fraud, repeated no-shows, or any unlawful conduct. Where we can, we will tell you why and how to respond.
Liability and governing law
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Saudi consumer-protection law. Subject to that, our liability for a claim arising out of a booking is limited to the value of that booking and any remedy expressly given in the Warranty Policy. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and disputes are subject to the Kingdom's competent courts, after the process in the Dispute Resolution page.
